Creative Thought for the Day, poetry
For creative writers with just a bit of time on their hands One Word is a great exercise to not only work creatively but to those of us who express our inner selves with writing to do a bit of associative work that may be working in our subconscious. I have this link in my side bar but had forgotten to use it. I guess it works out sometimes when you start cleaning out links - I’m planning on trying to do this much more regularly.
Today’s Word: Pane
The window pane is beaded with the raindrops that fall and fill my heart to overflowing. It is steamy because the room is hot from the wood burning stove filled to roaring because it is cold outside. I feel the drops as they fall down the window, and the tears run down my face expressing what I can’t.

Hi there, so you at flic’s place, no luck with the dollar bills, hmmmm….
I like your word exercise: A pane of clear glass, something to keep the warmth in and the cold out on a cold day. Something to keeo the cool air in (airconditioning), and the warm air out on a hot day, and still let the light in. Though it can keep the rain out, it still lets ‘moisture’ andwater droplets in. Laters … Q

Thats an interesting exercise. I always think I want to be a writer, but when it comes down to it, I’m too lazy to do exercises like that consistently. Actually, any kind of exercise consistently! LOL

Jane I agree - I have trouble doing ANYTHING consistently as well. I think it’s probably part of the bipolar thing for me. The only thing I can guarantee that I do at least 2x a day is to take my meds. As long as that happens - I’m happy!

Hi back Chia - I’ll come check out your blog too - I’m not into caring about age - we’re all as young (or as old) as we want to be. Glad you said hi!

Go saphire go! you can write
Just keep on blogging journal like - and when you’ve got enough material thread it and edit it into a story line. You can shuffle posts, dates and content around, to join up into chapters, and the chapters join up into a book. Q

Thanks Quasar9 - glad to see you back. I’d like to write a book - it’s on my list of to-dos. After the Ph.D. in physics.
